Ken and I met over 25 plus years ago. We attended San Francisco State together.

Where we attended the same classes together, were in the same study groups and we even pledged at the same time.

Though I thought he was a very handsome and great all-around guy, the timing was just off for us.

Throughout the years, after moving back to California from Canada, we stayed connected via Facebook, but it wasn't until he attended his best friend's wedding in September of 2022 that we got reacquainted.

We agreed to meet up for coffee to catch up. Coffee ended up being a 6-hour road trip down the coast.

A couple of months later, we started spending time together and our friendship grew into a beautiful, committed relationship. Three years later here we are walking down the aisle.

What's that saying goes, it's not our timing but God's timing.
